poems: assailant, untitled
written: 11:40 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 01, 2002
Assailant
your ugly
consonants drown out
my desperate cries
when your boring
asymmetrical words
stampede
what i have to say.
Untitled
my life on a
splendid silver-platter plate.
my mouth sucking on a
golden spoon.
my brains receiving
the most wholesome food.
my body being kept
in absolute shape.
my dear country controls
every action, every move.
my mind no longer
thinks for itself
in this perfect material world.
before sunrise // before sunset
