Wow, the USA is playing quite tragically tonight. Argentina pretty much handed the win to them on a silver platter in the first quarter when they finished with a measly 12 points against the USA's 31 (or 30-something), but in the second quarter, the tables have turned - quite literally. Argentina finished with 29 points and have narrowed the USA's lead to like, 9.

I swear, if the USA loses tonight, I probably won't stop laughing. Ever. Ever. And the best part? MANU GINOBILI ISN'T PLAYING. He injured his ankle in the first quarter and he's been benched ever since.

OH MY GAD. I am so behind Argentina right now even though they beat Greece. I'd LOVE for the USA to lose to make the gold medal match a bit more interesting.

I don't know if it's a testament to the quality of Argentinian defence or the shittiness of American offence, but the Americans have hardly got into the paint throughout the second quarter. I find that terribly amusing.
