Colours
she stands beneath a purple sky against an urban backdrop of green yellow brown orange grey; pollution stains her skin. they want her to fall. but under a bursting swollen sky, she is protected by the thinnest film of magic.
people laugh and turn their heads. they still don't get it, but continue to deny it. she's lost the truth the day they opened their mouths, and said, "I know what's good for you."
but how could they, when all they do is abuse and hurt? how could they, when they frown at the words that protect her from the city's acid rain? they are confused, and she understands why.
