mind's a blank

I'm sitting in front of the computer, trying to recall what I did yesterday.

Can't remember.

Still can't remember.

Yesterday was Friday. Yes, it was Friday. What happened on Friday?

Oh yeah. I went for Maths tutorial. Oh yeah. The class barbeque at Mel's place.

Well, the barbeque, a.k.a socialising, was okay. But I was more interested in playing basketball.

One interesting thing that happened was that this guy from my class kissed this other guy from my class on the cheek on a dare. Pretty sporting, they were. But I don't talk to them at all.

I still don't feel like I've gelled with the classmates.

But I guess that's a non-issue. I don't think I care anymore. Because there are bigger agendas at hand that need my time and energy, things that I have to get done or people would get on my arse and give me hell for it.

Argh. How fucking annoying. Next week I have to interview people for my school activity and write out the articles.

What the fuck. Who the fuck has time for such fucking shit. I don't even want to be a journalist as I truly believe that journalism kills creativity. I don't know what I was thinking when I signed up for the job.

Don't you think it's true, though, that journalism culls creativity? When you interview someone you have to write as though that person is utterly impressive because that's your job. Even if you think the person is a pretentious fuck you can't write that, or people would get on your arse and give you shit for it. I really feel sorry for journalists who have to interview silly popstars and write rosy stories about them...

Actually, now that I think of it, journalism CAN encourage creativity to a certain extent. I mean, it would take true genius to portray some annoying teenybopper singer as some tortured soul or something. It's like saying Britney Spears is the pop music version of, say, Picasso. I would salute anyone who can write something that paints her as such, and yes, creativity would be greatly needed for we all know that she's swine and pond scum.

I'm getting bitten by mosquitoes here. I was very bored today. Wanted to play basketball after being encouraged by yesterday's lovely performance but it rained.

Oh well.
